Concept art 18
After going through every object once and trying to come up with designs in pencil, I decided to move on to watercolour, to produce a more fluid shape. I've taken the outline of object 13, the scissors to make a uniquely thinner gun. I also used objects 4, 6 and 10 as reference of pattern and shape, to blend together metalwork and the feather pattern I noticed on object 10.
Concepts 16 and 17
Object 9 (back) I wanted to have a go and come up with ideas for new shapes for the back shoe. I was having trouble, so I came out with 2 simple designs one bird-like, one snake-like.
Concept art 14
Fusing objects 10,11 and 8, I wanted to reinvent the light bulb into a life form. I didn't really go in with a plan and the end result is a little cluttered.
Concept art 13
I was having fun with the shape and referencing the angler fish, inventing the sad story of the angler fish shoe: because its' fins are too small to do anything other than steer, it lies in wait for someone to put on the shoe and carry it off to another destination. But why would anyone put on a shoe that tries to eat your feet? I combined objects 9 and 2, to make the lure of the fish.
Concept art 12
Object 10. Keeping a similar shape to the object, just emphasizing more on the patterns and playing around with colour.
Concept art 11
I tried to play with angles and viewpoints with this one, in order to make the snake shape work. It is the various objects of 6 in a different order and slightly different sizes.
Concepts 9 and 10
It was hard to come up with a concept for object 1, as it is such a simple shape. It was hard thinking up what to turn it into: a structure, machine or life form.
