For my influence map, I took inspiration from Art Nouveau, 19th Century designs and the shape and colour of Russia cathedrals and the thought on how many building motifs that appear in various Fabergé eggs. I don't want the design just to be egg shaped, but to fit well into it's own time period that is still recognisable due to how much Fabergé's style must reflect in my own pieces. I had an idea about luxury and leisure being centrepiece in this Metropolis, and a general ease of keeping a lot of cathedrals, being able to afford to build one as way of practically buying ones way into Heaven. I thought of the inhabitants of this city of being as smug as a box of chocolates.
