Animator's Toolkit: Sensory visualization- Smell

For the first part of our sense visualization, I chose the the smell of Ginger to simulate in Flash, drawing the spice as it comes in waves, then its final impact of spice. I took the use of Symbols, discovering a new Tween of shapes, which I used to expand a circle shape, and played around with the transparency Alpha and Tint to change the colours. This part of the symbol was particularly laborious as it was the same shape over many different offset layers of varying levels of transparency to create one symbol, which I copied to change the size and the colour.
