I enjoy working on different colours too, just to give me some idea about what sort of colours would work well with certain designs. So far I have just been working in pencils and some pen when I want to go for a bolder outline. I played about with adding extra features onto object 13, to add my own flair on it. I didn't study any birds to achieve its' look so it is rather rushed, but I'm just working from what I've observed.
